17-18.09.2005 - World Management Forum & The 4th China Management Consulting Summit
(Szanghai-China) |

(This message is from Barry Curnow, ICMCI Chair…) |
Dear Presidents/Trustees/Chief Executives of ICMCI member institutes:
Come to Shanghai for Business and the Chinese Mooncake Festival!
We are often asked how CMC and ICMCI generates value for clients and
for consultants.Spectacular value is being created right now in China
by ICMCI volunteers and our Member the MCC (Management Consulting
Committee) of CEC (the Chinese Entreprise Confederation)
In just 3 weeks, we will witness and take part in a landmark event in
our ICMCI history in Shanghai. The World Management Forum cum the 4th
China Management Consulting Summit (2005) and CmCC
("consultants-meet-consultants-and-clients bilateral meetings) will be
a gathering of some 500 management consultants, senior executives,
enterpreneurs, and government officials from China and 16 other
countries. The value propositions for consultant participation as I
see them are:
1. Get an update on the trends and issues on management and consulting
in China, in the context of globalization
2. Stay close and discuss issues with senior executives and
consultants in China and overseas
3. Take home some immediate and relevant ideas and business contacts
for doing business in China and outside China
4. Identify actual business opportunities and introductions through
networking at the CmCC
Please see the attached ICMCI Press Release dated 8 Aug and the WMF
detailed agenda. As you would probably agree, the line-up of the
speakers and panelists is a remarkable achievement by MCC and our
ICMCI volunteers. But the final act of adding value is to take it and
make it!
I personally invite you, members of your institute, and their clients
(including those already in China) to join this unique meeting. It is
history in the making. Register at our website www.icmci.org. See you
in Shanghai during the coming Chinese Mooncake Festival (which falls
on 18 Sep). Together, let's get a breeze of fresh ideas along Huangpu
River and the Shanghai Bund.
