CMCI Working Meeting and CmCC, Moscow 13-16 September 2006 |

Dear ICMCI Members and Trustees,
I have the pleasure to remind you all about the CmCC (Consultants meet
Consultants and Clients) and ICMCI Working Meeting in Moscow 13-16
September 2006 for representatives from our Members and some
prospective members as guests. We will gather to exchange views and
knowledge about the current status for developments worldwide. We will
report the progress according to our strategy as presented at the
congress last September in Beijing. A part of the program will be a
follow-up on current developments on standardisation of consultants'
competencies where ICMCI will attempt to take the lead worldwide
through cooperation with European standardisation organisations. We
will have a presentation of the new ICMCI secretariat based in the
Netherlands, details about that will reach you separately within a
short time.
You can find the announcement and application through the ICMCI
website www.icmci.org with a link to the specific websites for CmCC
and Working Meeting. Registration payments has to be made in Euros
(€). Hotel room payments have to be done by applicants themselves
directly to the Hotel in Moscow.
ATTENTION PLEASE:
I am sorry that I have to stress the fact that timing is much more
critical than usual for registration because of the visa situation for
Russia:
You will need an invitation letter from Russian host. The hotel will
make invitation letters and it will cost € 10 per person. Signe Berndt
with support of Austrian Trade Commission in Moscow will arrange this
invitation letter after your registration and hotel reservation. Then
you need a visa for the period you will stay in Moscow. Getting visa
will take several weeks in average in most countries. In case you want
to visit St Petersburg afterwards you have to tell when arranging
visa. Your passport has still to be valid at least three months after
visiting Russia.
We can only support registrants for hotel accommodation and invitation
letter for visa when we will receive the Registration Form complete
with all requested information BEFORE 1 AUGUST 2006. After this date
we cannot support you anymore for booking the hotel, getting
invitation letter and arrange visa by yourself in time for CmCC and
Working Meeting.
Last week in Milan, Italy, we conducted the European hub meeting with
delegates from 16 countries, among them were guests from Canada and
India. The meeting was very successful, and the minutes, presentations
and other documentation will appear shortly on www.icmci.org. Part of
the conclusions reached will be discussed also in Moscow with
recommendations from Europe.
We hope all of you will subscribe for CmCC and Working Meeting as soon
as possible - in time to get the formal invitation letter and arrange
your visa.
